Mother, Heed Thyself

A good mother loves, encourages, and nurtures her children.

Does she do the same for herself?

She speaks such tender words.

Does she hear them, too?

You did your best, and that’s all you can do.

You are more beautiful than you know.

Don’t worry over the little things.

Heavenly Father has great plans for you.

It’s ok to make a mistake.

You can do anything you set your mind to.

I will always love you, no matter what.

A good mother knows she is not just a mother, but a child, too.

And that strength lies in being still, letting go,

and listening.

I love it!! You didn’t credit anyone, so I assume you wrote it. Everytime I see you, I see a new talent.

    Matt 25:15-16

15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

I know it’s talking about money, but I think it still applies. You’ve taken what God has given you and multiplied it in your life.

Such a thoughtful mom you are. I had a typo a second ago and almost called you a good mop. I s’pose you’d be a good mop too if you wanted to be one.

Welcome to hot Houston. I have lived here all my life and I still can’t stand Texas.

That little verse was just what I needed today.

    Thanks and stay cool.
