Shouldja, Couldja, Wouldja?

Jennifer got me to thinking that maybe I could strive for a list of “to do”s that didn’t just read:

  1. get through the day
  2. go to bed

So I have hopped on a bandwagon filled with a bunch of crazy overachievers who are trying to reach 101 goals in 1001 days.  I, quite the overachiever myself, actually ended up with 117 goals.  But seeing how I can hardly commit to folding my laundry in the same week that I washed it, I pared my list down to 101.

You can see my master list HERE.

My plan is to make small posts on this main page when I achieve a goal, and then update the master list with completion dates.  For those goals that require success over time, I will keep my progress updated there, too.

I’m already learning a lot about myself through this process.  For instance, I thought it would be kind of difficult to come up with 101 things for me to do.  But once I started reflected on how flawed and lazy I am, the ideas came fast and furious.  Ha ha ha…but seriously.  It’s been fun to reflect on what is important to me and what I’d like to change or accomplish over the next 2.75 years.  We’ll see how it goes!

Holy cow. You have 5 kids and have more goals than I will have in a lifetime! Where do you find the time? It’s hard enough for me being a mom to 1 (pretty) good baby, but forget trying to do anything for myself! I think it’s a great daily victory if I manage to shower. :)
