Give a Little Bit of Your Love to Me

Okay, so I’m trying to shake things up a little bit around here!  I got it into my head that I could teach myself CSS (design code for webpages), and I bought the upgrade from WordPress that will allow me to customize my template here.  I learned raw HTML many years ago, and now that I’m dipping in to CSS, it’s all slowly coming back to me.

Anyway…what do you think?  I really like my new header, though I’m not happy with the color of the text.  I may change that (it’s not supposed to be black, but it looks black…I’d like to change it to more of a deep olive green color).  I am also fond of the green/swirly circles background skin.  Is it working for *you*?  I changed the font type for the blog – is it ok to read?  Too small?  I’m going to be working on this for a while, so some of you may see of few generations of the change. :)   I’d love your input, though.  Let me have it!

    I think it’s gorgeous! The font is a good size and easy to read. The font color in the header doesn’t look black on my monitor. I can tell it’s a dark green.

    I think it looks great. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to design my own skins. Fantastic. I can read the font fine and the header doesn’t look black. Oh my screen it looks dark brown but I think I see colors a bit off.
