Review: Magpie Designz: Personalized Hand Stamped Jewelry

I was so thrilled when Etsy shop owner Emily Mancini contacted me about being featured here on Full Nest Reviews. Emily runs Magpie Designz, an Etsy store specializing in personalized, hand stamped jewelry. In explaining the name of her company, she points out the defining characteristic of a magpie: “loud, talkative birds that have an eye for shiny objects.” And Emily’s store is full of shiny, lovely objects!

From necklaces to bracelets, earrings to guitar picks (fun!), everything Emily designs can be personalized to fit your style and needs. She takes great pride in her work, using quality materials and striving to create positive relationships with her customers; over 100 of those customers have left glowing reviews of her work at Etsy.

I was able to review one of her necklace designs – the Mini Initial Tag Necklace. The necklace comes with 3 mini circle tabs – I decided not to go with my initials, and in order to do my kids’ initials, I’d need way more than *3* tabs, so I chose instead the letters “C,” “T,” and “R,” which are frequently used in my church to represent the phrase “Choose The Right.”

The letters came out beautifully – very bold and clear. The tabs themselves are so delicate and lovely, and I have grown very fond of the light tinkling they make against each other sometimes as I move. The necklace is incredibly light to wear – I sometimes forget I have it on! It’s been a lovely addition to every outfit, whether I’m in my “mom uniform” of capris and t-shirt, or whether I’m dressed in my Sunday best. I decided on the 18” chain, and it falls at just the right spot for me – not a choker, but not very long, either. It usually rests just above my shirt’s neckline, which makes it a wonderful accent piece.

This simple, lovely necklace makes me feel special every time I wear it.
