Book Review: I SPY A to Z: A Book of Picture Riddles

We have a vast collection of I SPY merchandise in our home – books, card games, puzzles – all of them well-loved (and most of them missing pages or pieces!).  I SPY books have long been “quiet time” material during church services or entertainment for long car rides, and the games and puzzles have brought fun cooperation between my kids.  Honestly, we love the I SPY line of products!

That’s why I was particularly excited when offered the chance to review the newest book, I SPY A to Z:  A Book of Picture Riddles…AND…to offer you a chance to win an AMAZING giveaway!

ISpyA2Z_COVFrom the official book synopsis:

Easy-to-read riddles by Jean Marzollo are paired with forty-six object-filled photographs by Walter Wick to create I Spy A to Z, the most engaging alphabet book ever! With more than thirty titles and 36 million books in print, the I Spy series continues to win the hearts and minds of parents and kids everywhere.

This book is simply gorgeous.  The pictures are - as usual – full of whimsy and detail.  I love being able to spend long moments focused on each page, coupling the clever riddles with the mass of objects, using my toddler’s index finger to touch and point at all the colorful items in the picture.  I think I’ve always loved how the I SPY books are just as entertaining for adults as it is for the kids in our lap!

*original post included a giveaway of the book
