Review: Build-A-Bear Owl and Bearville Scavenger Hunt

Last week Build-A-Bear Workshop unveiled a new furry friend in their collection:
Owl! Our family was sent this snuggly guy for review, and I can tell you he is so incredibly soft! Cuddly, too. I also happen to think his beak and big ol’ feet are cute, complete with talons. My kids get a kick out of turning his head this way and that.

Also this month (through the 29th) at Build-A-Bear Workshop, with the purchase of any animal $10 or more, you get a 3D map and glasses, along with a web code to participate in a fun scavenger hunt at  buildabearville.com.  Watch this 30 second video for more details:

We signed on to buildabearville.com and had a lot of fun following the clues online and using our map at home to navigate and find the scattered items. You can only find so many items each day, so be sure to jump on this before the very end of the month!

What I liked the best about buildabearville.com - even outside of the scavenger hunt – were the excellent graphics and fun music (you can even scan through the Build-A-Bear “playlist!), the way you could interact with other players online, and all the special games and features packed into the site. Did you know that the site is free to play? And that you DON’T need a Build-A-Bear product to play?
