Children’s Book Review: I’m Your Bus, by Marilyn Singer

It’s that time again!  And whether your oldest is just starting school, or your seasoned school kids are heading back, chances are there might be some butterflies on “back-to-school jitters” duty.  The new children’s picture book, I’m Your Bus (Scholastic Press) by Marilyn Singer is a sweet book that might help put your kids’ nerves at ease and get them excited about the adventure that awaits on the school bus.  From the publishers:

Get ready for a rip-roaring, rhyming ride that celebrates all things drivin’ with a special spotlight on a kid’s four-wheeled best buddy–his school bus! When you’re a kid, your school bus can be your very best friend. Morning, noon, and nighttime, too, that golden buddy is at your service. Ready to drive you and your friends to and from school!

Our family thought this was a really cute book, and we especially enjoyed the clever rhymes used to tell the story.  As a bonus, my 2yo has read it so many times with us that he now knows the word “bus!”
