- hands sweat. sometimes a lot.
- a good playlist can make all the difference.
- it’s kind of a pain to “rotate out” between sets with someone who has to completely re-calibrate the weight machine.
- never wonder to yourself how gross you look. because then you will be tempted to catch your reflection. and yes, you’ll look pretty gross.
- but…no one cares a whit about that.
- going once a week is better than not going at all. (thanks for that encouragement, Rachel!)
- going at least three times a week is even better.
- they say exercising gives you energy, but I think they’re talking long-term. ’cause some days I’m plain TIRED from working out!
- ellipticals are not evil, they just need to be tamed.
- shoulder presses, on the other hand, are evil.
