This Friday means another chance for me to share a bit about who I read and why. I think I’ll call today the “Positive Mommies” edition. Some treasures from my Google Feed Reader:
ohamanda.com - Amanda first caught my attention during the Blissdom conference. I somehow stumbled upon her updates of the event, and remember seeing her adorable baby son in pictures with the darling Ender Thomas & Nathan Pacheco from Yanni Voices. I’ve stayed with her blog because she has such a grateful, positive attitude towards her children and her life. I feel peaceful visiting there. I also enjoy her Top Ten Tuesdays and her old family photos on Wordless Wednesday. Follow ohamanda on Twitter.
flowerchain – I feel like a bit of a blog stalker here, I must confess. I’m not sure how I first found Leslie’s blog, but I find it so lovely and her voice so full of optimism that I’ve made it a permanent part of my regular tour of blogs. I don’t think I’ve ever commented though, which is what makes it feel a bit stalker-ish. I actually met someone at the Mom 2.0 Summit in February who knows Leslie, and she asked how I knew her (she saw that Leslie was on my blogroll). I had to admit that I don’t know her at all, just really appreciate her perspective! Honestly, reading about her family and their adventures makes me want to be a better Mommy. (ps: I’m not sure Leslie is on Twitter…I don’t see any info for her.)
Closing Time - I love how I first met Erin. It was through a review of her and her husband’s CD, Here We Go. Our family loves the CD, and when I found out that Erin had a personal blog, I signed on as a subscriber. My soft spot for her ability to please and entertain my kids extends to the calm I feel when reading her blog. Again, here’s a mom just trying to teach and raise her children with love and compassion, and I appreciate Erin’s creativity and her attempt to seek for the good things in life.
