I LOVE that my kids make all their own school lunches.
I do NOT LOVE that I find this scene every. single. morning:
I know it seems like a small thing. That’s what pet peeves are, though – right? Just little inconsequential things that add up to a big annoyance.
And for me, the knife and peanut butter on the counter EVERY morning is…well…kind of annoying!

That would drive me nuts. Atleast the peanut butter is closed, though.

Ha! I know exactly what you mean. My kids don’t do this (I pack their lunches still), but my HUSBAND does.

I do this sometimes, but is ONLY because I know as soon as I put it in the sink someone else will want a peanut butter sandwich! LOL

Oh yes, that would annoy me too. I suppose cleaning the knife is better than having to make the lunches though.

My problem? Sticky everywhere!! So I have started making my own Pb and J’s and putting them in the freezer for both the girls and TD. I put peanut butter on both sides so that the jelly doesn’t leak through and I do it once a week. No longer am I coming through the kitchen, slightly brushing up against anything and coming away sticky! Plus no gooey, hard to clean knives to take care of either. I LOVE it!
