2-Year Old? Or Circus Act?

Tell me I’m not the only parent who makes their kid repeat cute words over and over.  Poor Eli sometimes gets treated like a circus act – oooooh, see his tricks! – but honestly, his most recent words “c-kie” (cookie) and “pum-pin” (pumpkin) are just too delicious.  And because I love to torture him so, I had to get it on video, too.

    Absolutely adorable!!

I have done the same thing so many times. I have even done worse. How about purposely not correcting your 6 year old (and forbidding the others in your family) because you think the way he says “Amem” is so much cuter that the correct, Amen.
I love kids mixed up words and our youngest has had ALOT thanks to a speech delay. I figure it only lasts a short time, and these a fabulous memories.

Our family still calls Woody and Buzz…Boody and Buzz because that is what our oldest called them when the movie first came out. Who knows…c-kie may stick and you will call them that forever.
