Review: HANA Professional 1″ Flat Iron from Misikko.com

Since my daughters were old enough to care about styling their hair, we’ve been on the lookout for a great flat iron.  My oldest daughter has very curly hair, and she in particular likes to change up her look every so often.

I was excited when Misikko.com, a site dedicated to high quality beauty tools – including professional flat irons - contacted me with an opportunity to review something from the HANA line of products.  We were sent the HANA Professional 1″ Flat Iron, one of Missiko.com’s top picks for ceramic flat irons, to try.

The HANA Professional Flat Iron has been fantastic.  It heats quickly and has temperatures appropriate for all of my daughters’ hair types:  short and straight, long and naturally wavy, and long and curly.  The fact that it’s so versatile really increases it’s value in my opinion.  I have been particularly pleased that my curly-haired daughter has had so much success with the HANA Professional – we’ve been disappointed before by flat irons that either don’t get hot enough, end up frizzing her hair out even more, don’t smoothly glide over her curls (which the HANA Professional does!), or are painful to hold during the long process of straightening her hair.  The HANA Professional has met all these challenges, and combining the flat iron with the HANA ShineShield (a thermal serum used as a leave-in conditioner to help protect and shine hair) gives my daughter a new and lovely option for styling her hair.
