Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book “Fantastic Mr Fox” has come to life on the big screen via the ecclectic vision of director Wes Anderson. The film has been designated a New York Times Critics’ Pick, heralded by The Washington Post as “a gift for the entire family,” and is definitely on my own family’s wish-to-see list.
To celebrate the success and excitement surrounding this movie, I’m putting up a FANTASTIC “Fantastic Mr Fox” giveaway!
Not one, but TWO WINNERS will receive:
- the Fantastic Mr Fox soundtrack
- a Fantastic Mr Fox movie poster
- a Fantastic Mr Fox movie sticker book
- a copy of the Fantastic Mr Fox novel with pictures from the movie
To enter, please answer in a comment to this post: what’s your favorite movie adapted from a book?

My favorite? I’m totally drawing a blank on this one. So how ’bout I say Twilight…or New Moon (I do lean Team Jacob after all).
I like to make you laugh. Or cringe.
Teeheehee.

Awaiting moderation, eh? Hopefully you’ll let me through. It would spice up the comments a bit, wouldn’t it?
Now of course the reason for me commenting again…I subscribe.
P.S. I’m waiting for more new of the snow. Albeit briefly, Houston made the front page on CNN. Did school let out early?

Although they were both pretty different from the books, I would say either Anne of Green Gables or Lord of the Rings.
