Houston: A Winter Wonderland?

Talk of snow has been all over town for days.  Really?!  It has been delightfully chilly, hovering in the 50′s all week long.  For once I haven’t scoffed at the idea of a Christmas where the weather outside is frightful, because it’s finally been true for Houston!

But snow?  We’ll see.  Our school district is recommending we make preparations for an early closure today - the snow is rumored to come in early afternoon.  I’ll have my camera ready, just in case. :)

    It’s funny to hear you say that 50′s is delightfully chilly! We were 52 yesterday, which is *really* warm for upstate NY this time of year, but there was a biting wind. Even so, I saw people in shorts!

    I hope you get your “about one inch” of snow today and that you’re able to get some nice pictures while it lasts! Thirty-nine for a high is c-o-l-d for your area, I imagine.
