I have started a monthly menu planning deal and it is saving us around $200 a month! It's amazing how much gets added on to a weekly Walmart shopping trip that I don't get if I only go seriously once a month. The rest of the time, I only go once a week for milk, bread, yogurt and produce. I LOVE it!

Isn't it amazing how having a plan makes things seem to much more manageable? There are still days when I don't want to cook what I have planned, but knowing that I planned it and that I have the ingredients and have already spent the money most of the time keeps me on track.
