I’m Trying Not To Snicker

Tomorrow morning I hop a flight – all by myself! – to visit with my family in California for a week.  Tables will be turned as my husband (who travels A LOT for work) holds down the fort, or as I call it, “The Looney Bin.”  I’ve left him a detailed calendar of activities, lots of instructions, and more than a few tips and suggestions.  We’ll see how long it takes for him to call me with a question (or ten).

    You did a wonderful job of maping out all of the kids activities. It should be a no brainer for your husband and yet, overwhelming due to lack of practice. I’m sure they’ll all be fine :) Enjoy your time off with your family in California! The good news, I’m sure you’ll have plenty to blog about when you get back.

    That is so great that you were able to get away. I know my hubby doesn’t appreciate all the planning and detail that go into running our house day to day. I went to Colorado to throw my sister a bridal shower in January for 4 days and somehow hubby managed to get by.
