CLOSED: Sterling Silver Miracle of Life Necklace from Things Remembered {Review & Giveaway}

Things Remembered has long been regarded as the perfect place to shop for meaningful, customized gifts for all occasions – Mother’s Day especially!  I recently had the chance to review a beautiful piece of jewelry that goes straight to the heart of being a mother:  the Sterling Silver Miracle of Life Necklace.

The necklace features a heart charm surrounded by cubic zirconium crystals and a mother holding a child in the center, with an engravable heart plaque behind.  The charm and heart plaque come on a lovely silver chain that measures 18″, with a 2″ extender.

I love wearing this lovely, sparkling piece of jewelry!  I have found myself absent-mindedly fiddling with the charm and plaque, as they both mean so much to me and represent the joys my five children have brought me.

One thing I would mention about the clasp that came with my necklace – it has the ability to open and close around the charm and plaque, and while I actually really like the flexibility of being able to change things around (wear only the charm, wear only the heart, or even put any of my other Things Remembered charms on the necklace!), my 2yo quickly discovered how to work it, and I need to be particularly cautious about him not unhooking the charm or plaque as I hold him.

The clasp does not unhook on its own, so if you don’t have children to worry about, I would definitely leave it.  Otherwise, just be cautious, or swap out another (immobile) clasp!
