Last summer my youngest son and I were tickled to receive the first in a new children’s book series about Max Spaniel, adventure dog extraordinaire. Author David Catrow has followed that book, entitled “Dinosaur Hunt,” with the second book in the series, “Funny Lunch.” Again we’ve been lucky enough to review the book, and offer a great giveaway, too!
In “Funny Lunch,” Max – who assures us he in not, in fact, a dog – taps into his entrepreneurial spirit by opening his own diner, and gets himself into quite a messy pickle! My son loves the silliness of the story and the illustrations.

The book is recommended for ages 4-8, but my son is just 2 1/2 and asks me to read “Funny Lunch” to him several times in one sitting!
I have FIVE (5) PRIZE PACKS, INCLUDING BOTH “FUNNY LUNCH” -AND- “DINOSAUR HUNT” (the first book in the series) TO GIVEAWAY! To enter, please answer in a comment to this post: what is your child’s favorite read-aloud-book right now?

For extra entries, chose any of the following and leave an individual comment telling me which method you used:
US entries only, please. All entries due by11:59PM CST, Monday, May 24th. Good luck!
*Disclosure: I received a copy of “Funny Lunch” from Scholastic in order to facilitate this review. I received no other compensation. My opinions are mine…and my 2yo son’s!
