With four kids at home, anytime there is a cough or a sniffle, I jump to batten down the hatches. Otherwise, we each seem to drop like flies as the germs get passed around. We focus on washing hands, drinking lots of fluids, getting the rest we need, and using products like Little Remedies children’s medicine to help manage symptoms of a cold or flu.
I’ve used Little Remedies for many years with my younger kids, mostly because I like how gentle the medicine is on little systems. “The Little Remedies® products follow the philosophy of “less is more” while providing parents with effective products to support the health and well-being of their child. Little Remedies® products contain only what is needed to make your child feel better – no saccharin, alcohol, artificial flavors, artificial coloring, dyes or harmful preservatives.” It’s also important to note that Little Remedies offers many products that are gluten free
The two Little Remedies that are staples in my medicine cabinet are the Little Remedies Little Noses Saline Spray and Little Remedies Multi-Symptom Cold Formula. When a child is congested, the Little Remedies Saline Spray is a fantastic, non-medicated way to help clear nasal passages, and I love that it can be used by all ages. When symptoms are a bit more severe, I use the Little Remedies Multi-Symptom Cold Formula to bring down fevers and offer some relief while my kids are battling a cold or the flu.
Two other fantastic products in the Little Remedies line of children’s medicine are Little Remedies Honey Elixir for Colds and Little Remedies Infant Fever/Pain Reliever. I know when I have a cough, drinking a mix of warm honey and lemon helps bring relief. The Little Remedies Honey Elixir offers that same relief for children by soothing coughs and sore throats with the natural use of honey. And the Little Remedies Infant Fever/Pain Reliever is one of the very first medicines to adopt a new Accusafe Dosing system for infant acetaminophen products. It’s a great option for specifically treating fever or pain in young children.
I know how hard our family works to stay healthy (or get healthy) during cold and flu season, and I know how we rely on the fabulous products from Little Remedies, but I’m curious…
