Scotch-Brite Bathroom Cleaning Challenge {Giveaway}

*Disclosure: This is the third post of a 3-part series sponsored by Scotch-Brite. I was provided product for the purpose of review, and a stipend for my time in posting. All opinions expressed are honest and my own.

I have always wanted a bathroom reserved primarily for visitors to use when we entertain. You know, one that isn’t used regularly by the kids, one with crisp towels and a pristine vanity. When we moved into this house last year, I thought I just *might* get that. All of the kids’ bedrooms are upstairs, as well as a bathroom that I declared as theirs. No showering, no brushing teeth, no anything serious or messy in the downstairs bathroom!

Do you think I got my wish? Not so much.

My mom always says “You can have kids, or you can have nice things.” Fortunately, I was recently sent a small arsenal of bathroom cleaning supplies from Scotch-Brite, so even though I do have kids, at least I can still have a clean guest bathroom.

Not pictured here – although we did receive it – is the Toilet Bowl Brush & Holder. That was put to immediate use!

In regards to the bathroom that is used by our guests, I am typically most concerned that the sink and toilet be clean. So far we have managed to limit any showers taken in that bathroom, so the tub is still in pretty great condition. But the sink and toilet? Constantly dirtied-up by our large household.

The sink is older and has already lost a good deal of porcelain. Still, I like for every nook and cranny that can be cleaned to be cleaned, including the little ring around the drain, and the seals on the faucet. The Scotch-Brite Grout & Detail tool is great for that.

I also like using the Scotch-Brite Upturned Bristles Toilet Brush and Holder, because the bristles are angled in a way that not only gets to all the parts you can see, but also under the toilet’s rim, where odor-causing germs can linger. Besides, the brush and holder just look cool as they’re tucked away for necessary use.

The kids may need to be grown and gone before I have a bathroom that is always guest-ready, but until then, I’ll continue to use Scotch-Brite Bathroom Cleaning Products to keep things looking presentable.

    How funny! I can relate. We do have a guest room that has a full bath, so it’s not used — as you wish — but we have a powder room downstairs, which is of course is what people use when they are in my house, and my son always uses that one. Like he even comes downstairs in the morning to use it. And boys are gross!! So I have to do a lot of cleaning in there :)

    I use a lot of bleach to clean the toilet, I add a 1/2 a cup of bleach to the tank and it helps keep the bowl clean longer.
