I’ve been blogging since 2005.

I’ve been sharing product reviews and giveaways since 2008.

My blog has been through several incarnations, and it’s time to follow one more bend in the road.

I will be drastically reducing the amount of work I do with companies on product campaigns, and offering far fewer giveaways. This is not a move to “take my blog back” from the “shallow clutches” of sponsored posting. I have loved all the work I’ve done with companies over the years and don’t regret it one bit. But I am no longer interested in reviewing a product for product’s sake. My kids are older now, and our time together as a family is paramount. I want the work I do with companies to be more about how certain products or brands affect our daily experiences or time together, things we can integrate organically into our lives.

I have no idea how often I will be posting. I still have many things I love, and love to share with others. The five categories that remain are where my heart is: books, entertainment, parenting, personal (including hobbies and health issues), and travel. When I feel compelled to post within those topics, I will. And that may – very occasionally – include product work.

I sincerely appreciate every single reader who finds their way to this blog – whether they be friends, family, fellow bloggers, loyal readers, or the drop-ins who find their way here through an internet search. I hope you find something interesting, entertaining, or of some use to you here.
